Foundation Seeks Director of Communications

The Spartanburg County Foundation is currently seeking a Director of Communications to lead the Foundation’s communications and marketing activities. This position develops and implements identity and key message standards and creates broad public awareness of the Foundation to advance its strategic goals for marketing, donor services, and asset growth. This position also plans and carries out the communications activities of the Foundation, which includes publications, strategic messaging, media relations, special events, donor engagement, and asset development. Four year degree required, and at least three – five years of experience in the public relations, community relations, and marketing field or related field is required. Nonprofit experience a plus!
