RESPONSIVE GRANTMAKING CYCLES
The 2019 grant cycles are now closed! Please check back for more information in regards to 2020 grantmaking opportunities.
In 2019, The Spartanburg County Foundation offered two responsive grant cycles – a spring and a fall cycle. The Foundation recognizes its role as a grantmaker that responds to ongoing needs in the community and seeks applications that are focused on data-informed activities, meet the needs of Spartanburg County, and are integral in advancing an organization’s mission. Responsive grant sizes typically range from $5,000 to $15,000.
Proposals must clearly provide innovative responses to address the goals and/or priorities set forth by the Spartanburg Community Indicators Project. For more information about the Spartanburg Community Indicators Project or to download the reports, please visit StrategicSpartanburg.org. Projects/programs may benefit a single organization, a collaborative initiative, and/or a system of services that address community issues.
ABOUT FUTURE FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
In addition to providing financial resources, the Foundation also serves as a knowledge source by connecting individuals and organizations to other resources in the community. Periodically, the Foundation is made aware of funding opportunities and distributes this information to the nonprofit community.
