Randy Jones served as the Foundation’s Chief Financial Officer for seven years before he passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2023. The Trustees and staff of the Foundation continue to honor his legacy.
During his tenure, Randy used his experience as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and broad knowledge of financial and business planning, accounting, financial analysis, internal software systems, and experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors to strengthen Foundation operations, internal controls, fiscal management and opportunities for SCF donors and fundholders.
Randy was a strong man of faith and served as a Deacon at Holly Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed time with his wife Lisa, their children, and grandchildren, supporting Clemson Tigers, playing frisbee with his German Shepherd, photography, and fly fishing.
