Abby Gerringer serves as Staff Accountant for the Spartanburg County Foundation and joined the team in 2024. She oversees the daily accounting operations of the Foundation including month-end and year-end processes, financial reporting, general ledger, revenue and expenditure analysis, fixed asset activity. Abby manages the monthly/quarterly/annual budget preparation for both the Foundation and the Foundation Initiatives, monthly joint investment allocation calculations, maintains investment records for Charitable Remainder Unitrusts and processes weekly check runs.
She brings a wealth of accounting experience from her years working in the audit departments of FORVIS.
Abby and her family moved to Spartanburg in late 2022 and are excited to have finally found a place to settle down and grow roots. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Spartanburg and the surrounding areas, immersing her toddlers in the lifestyle of southern living and teaching them southern hospitality.
