Kim Atchley serves as Communications Officer. She joined the Foundation team in 2021 as a member of the Philanthropic Services team, building communications to expand public awareness of the Foundation and its services. She prepares the Foundation’s Annual Report, print and digital support materials, and organizes the Foundation’s Annual Meeting. She also manages the SCF website, social media, external communications, and marketing. Kim serves as the Foundation’s media liaison, sharing the Foundation’s role as a valued and trusted knowledge source. She manages community sponsorship opportunities and serves as staff liaison for Women Giving for Spartanburg. Kim is a 2017 graduate of the Grassroots Leadership Development Institute.
Kim and her husband have three adult children. She loves writing, crafting, and kayaking around the coves of Lake Murray.
