Minority Business Connect

Minority Business Connect is an initiative of the Spartanburg County Foundation in partnership with Spartanburg County Government to meet an identified need in the community to support minority business owners with an opportunity to build social capital, learn about resources available to them in the community, and network with other business owners to build economic mobility across Spartanburg County.

What Minority Business Connect?

The Minority Business Connect Initiative has three pillars of its work: LEARN. SHARE. CONNECT. Each session focuses on one of these three pillars. Learning opportunities help business owners expand their knowledge of effective business practices to build their capacity and long-term success. Sharing through panel discussions and facilitated discussion provides business owners a safe space for digging in to challenges and solutions as well as bright spots and highlights of what is working and what is not. Sharing enables participants engage positively within a network of local support and knowledge sharing. Connecting through networking events helps build the overall ecosystem of support for entrepreneurs seeking to establish, build, and share their role in shaping the economic future – for themselves and the entire community.
