Book of Memory

Friends and family members can honor a loved one by having their name recorded in the Book of Memory through a donation made to the Spartanburg Community Fund.

The Book of Memory is on permanent display at the Spartanburg County Foundation’s Robert Hett Chapman III Center for Philanthropy. It is kept in a glass case to protect the book that has been recording the names of community members for more than 80 years.

The Book of Memory offers a meaningful way to pay lasting tribute to those whose names and lives have been recorded in its pages. Each name has been beautifully inscribed by a professional calligrapher.
