Continuous Improvement Grants of up to $35,000 are focused on supporting nonprofit organizations that align with the three amplified areas in the Foundation’s vision statement: quality of life, educational achievement, and economic mobility. These grants are designed to help strengthen efforts in these vital areas, ensuring all Spartanburg County residents can reach their full human potential.
For 2025, there will be one grant cycle. The application process will occur in the following phases:

Tuesday, May 27th: Letters of Interest Due for Continuous Improvement Cycle*
Tuesday, June 10th: Notification of Status and Invitation to Meet with SCF’s Community Leadership Team
July: Grant Applicant Meetings with the Community Leadership Team
Tuesday, July 22nd: Notification of Status and Invitation to Apply
Tuesday, August 26th: Invited Applications Due for the Continuous Improvement Grant*
September-November: Site Visits; SCF Grants Committee Review of Applications
Tuesday, December 16th: Notification of Continuous Improvement Grant Awards
*Letters of interest and grant applications must be submitted through SCF’s online grants portal by 5 PM on the designated deadlines.
