Disaster Relief – Emergency Food Response

Our Response to the October/November 2025 Food Crisis
  • The Spartanburg County Foundation worked quickly to respond to the community food crisis that occurred as a result of SNAP benefits being suspended on November 1, 2025.
  • The Foundation team worked closely with the Spartanburg Joint Funders and nonprofit organizations to ensure that children and families across our community had food.
  • In October and November, the Foundation quickly deployed nearly $80,000 to organizations providing food to residents across Spartanburg County through Disaster Relief Fund grants and Just Because grants.
