Long Term Disaster Recovery

More than 400 homes in Spartanburg County have still not recovered from Hurricane Helene. These unmet needs can range from tree damage to shorted HVAC systems, but data further shows that a majority of community needs focus on debris assistance and home damage. Many people seeking aid are also over the age of 65.

The Spartanburg County Foundation’s Spartanburg Disaster Relief Fund provided immediate relief and recovery grants to nonprofit organizations helping Spartanburg County residents recover from the impact of Hurricane Helene.

The Spartanburg Long Term Disaster Recovery Group is seeking a partnership with Mennonite Disaster Service to assist our community with home repairs due to damage from Hurricane Helene.

How can I help?
