Christy Fernandez

Christy Fernandez processes accounts payables, grant expenses, grants, and scholarships for funds held at the Foundation.

Christy joined the Foundation in 2022, bringing experience in administrative services, accounting, and banking to her role on the Finance Team. She processes accounts payable and maintains extensive financial records. Christy works with SCF fundholders to ensure their charitable resources are deployed into the community to meet their philanthropic goals. She also ensures that scholarship awards are processed to support students pursuing their post-secondary academic goals.

Christy volunteers in ministry work that permeates every aspect of her life. She enjoys travel, hiking in the Smoky Mountains, and Tennessee Vols football during her downtime. A Zeta Phi Beta Sorority member, she enjoys every facet of finer womanhood and encourages advanced scholastic achievement. She and her husband, Greg, live in Spartanburg, where she has three stepsons and two beloved dogs.
