Ms. Klein is a Tax Partner in PwC’s Private practice with over 20 years of experience. She leads the Personal Financial Services practice in the Carolinas and focuses on income tax and estate tax planning for high-net-worth individuals with complex tax footprints. Her work includes income tax forecasting, transaction modelling, and keeping abreast of legislative updates and the impact law changes have to her client base. She also serves closely held businesses and supports family offices. 

She was honored by the United Way of the Piedmont with the Morgan Award for Community Leadership in 2025. Ms. Klein has served on the Foundation’s Investment Advisory Committee since 2023.


Originally from the Augusta, Georgia area, Renee received her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and her Masters in Accounting from Clemson University. She currently resides in Spartanburg, South Carolina with her family.
